I'm pretty much going beast mode with my computer. I've already got my case but I need some help choosing ram...

It says the memory standard for my board is ddr2 1200. What type of differences are there with the ddr2 1200 vs the cheaper 800(800 is kinda like the standard right?)

I'm looking for the best ram I can get. I will have an e6600 intel and an 8800 GTS to go with this... i'm looking to hit 3 to 3.5 ghz on my cpu and want my ram to be proportionately overclocked. (I may not overclock at first but I want to have the best components to overclock with.) I've read that the e6600 is the best cpu for the price and so i'm getting that... but what should I get for ram?

Here's the motherboard...(from what i've read this is a good OCing board; correct me if i'm wrong)

EDIT: This was what looked like the most badass ram out... so I was thinking about getting it just because it appeals to my machismo senses of being a man...
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820134430 From what i've read, this is the best out... am i wrong... is this good for OCing? I liked the review from slashbomb and it looks like a good buy... http://www.slashgear.com/kingston-hyperx-pc9600-ddr2-1200-review-095176.php

that stuff does look pretty impressive from the review.on the otherhand its very expensive.i might look at the crucial 8500s to save some money and they will definately oc very well.for raw out of the box speed tho that kingston will be hard to beat.good luck with the new rig!

yeah, i'm still gonna be saving to get this beast... but I'm not sure if i'm going to want to overclock now that i'm getting all these beastly components... i mean really, do programs perform better when a dual core cpu is overclocked? Is it a significant increase in speed?

if you have never had a dual core you are gonna flip out when you get your conroe! on stock speeds! besides on air you wont need more then ddr2 800 wich will hit 3.6 :) IMO it would just be a waste if you got anymore! i could be wrong?
EDIT.... for any higher clocks you would need ddr2 1000:)
