well i starting getting curious about lowering my vcore after opening sandra and seeing it read the vid on my chip as 1.23... these chips all say "1.35v" max.. but i really dont think they need that at all...

check out this screenshot... this is 1.292v in bios... 57174

I wonder whats the lowest clock you can boot a conroe at.....

If your mobo can go down to 1.1000 Volt, try it & find the highest clock on 1.1000V, you'll amaze how cool your CPU will be. :)

ya my mobo goes down to like .8v... never tried it but i may...

currently my e6600 sits @ 3.0ghz 333x9 @ 1.225v (down .1 v from 1.325 stock vid) which is quite amazing... 25% oc 8% undervolt... if i said that before the c2d's came out you woulda thought i was crazy.

well i got my conroe stable at 2.4ghz with 1.1v that is as low as my ab9 pro would go. i havent tried on the 680i yet.. might have to.
