I have done to o/c my PIII 750 FCPGA to 840 MHz.
Stable for 5 hours to run 3D Mark 2000 at 1024x768, all 16 bit , double buffer , 64M AGP texturing not to test .
But now I have replaced my HD IBM 20,5 GB Deskstar 7200 RPM with Seagate barracuda 20GB 7200 RPM ( ST 32011A ).

IBM and Quantum are best HD I have known for o/cing . They're even stable to run at 37MHz clock PCI .
How about Seagate 20 GB Baracuda ?
Can it run at 37 MHz or more without causing data lost or other problem ?
Need assistance , please share your experience , I'm newbie . Thanks to all .

Try posting this under General Hardware and see what responses you get. But I would think every HDD seems ok or good to oc cept for WD since they have some craptastic quality.

even the best brand will still overclock differently from one to another. All you can do is keep your fingers crossed. I think and i'm not positive but i have heard a few threads about a few seagate's not doing so well but in the same token there have been many that do fine, your going to have to gamble either way with any brand. Honestly i'm happy with my generic HD and at 171FSB i have nothing to complain about. one note if it does not work take it back.
