Anyone from the UK? Need help re postage services

I hope this is the correct forum to ask this...

I need some "UK" help.

Basically, what does "Royal Mail Airmail" mean?

I bought this Windows XP pro from ebay uk. Paid for the item by paypal on 8th May. I still haven't received it... and I'm becoming impatient!

So I checked my order and it says:

"Royal Mail Airmail (small packets) Dispatched 8th May 2007".

My dad told me that if it's just normal mail I'd have to wait some 2 weeks more till I receive the CD! I hope this isn't the case!!!

If it's of relevance, I paid £5.50 for packing and postage.

I would think Royal Mail Airmail would be similar to USPS Airmail, which takes like 5-7 business days to get to the other side of the world.

Maybe shes sitting in customs :) Customs like to hold onto your things then charge you for the privilege.

Naa serious though, ive used Royal mail airmail quite a lot, send parcels all round Europe and to the USA, never a problem, quite a fast service 3-5 Working days.
