I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem.... I recently made some changes to my watercooling setup, one of which was switching from vinyl tubing to the silicone tubing from Danger Den. The problem was that air was being pulled into the system. With the pump running for 6-8 hours the water level in the fill tube would go up by 2.5 - 3". I eliminated everything I had changed step by step until all I was left with that was different was the tubing. So I went and switched the silicone tubing with my old vinyl tubing and the problem went away. I ran the pump for about 16 hours and, if anything, the water level dropped as some of the air bubles worked their way out.

I've sent a couple of e-mails to Danger Den, but as of now, no response. I REALLY wish they had a phone number to call instead of having to wait for them to go through all their e-mail...

Well I guess no one has had this problem...

Does anyone know a good/different way to get a hold of someone at DangerDen? I sent an e-mail to the tech support address last Friday and an e-mail to Dennis on Monday and I still haven't received any reply at all....

Try using a different piece of tube, or using a hose clamp on the suction side of the pump (intake). Also try to look for a nick in the brass hose barb. If your silicon tube goes on easier, it might be letting a nick in the fitting suck air. A hose clamp should fix this...but not too tight, the hose clamp can cause it too by bunching up the hose if it's the screw type.

My first rig did this until I found that I had put a nick in the fitting. The tubing fit very tight and I thought using an exacto knife would be easier than pulling my brains out to get the hose off....live and learn. A hose clamp fixed it.

The reason to look at the tubing itself is you may have a small split in it. Could happen if it's been pulled on too hard, or been squashed with a tool.

Let me know how it comes out.
