Going to use my current 2gb ram kit on another computer, so I decided... why not go 4gb? Any recommended 4gb ram kit? I see Newegg has a few kits at about $230...

4GB kits are lookin' better and better as each day goes by. I havn't seen many reviews on them but there is the Mushkin kit which is posted in this section. That 4GB kit really surprised me. I didn't think they would clock as well as it did. But I guess it all depends on what you want out of the kit. If you don't want to do much clocking then one of the cheaper DDR2-800s would be just fine.

The prices on 4GB kits are making me ill... I paid $429 for a 4GB kit in March! Those killer Mushkins are only $329. I just checked and the lowest priced DDR2 800 kit is $224.99. They should break $200 shortly. Incredible!

You have no idea how angry my dad is for buying 4x1GB sticks for well over $400 a few months back. :p But then again, I paid $300 for my sticks that are now like $100.
