This is the first PS3 game I've played (downloaded the demo) that can hold a candle to and maybe even surpass a 360 game in the areas of graphics, sound a fun. The gameplay is fast and perhaps a little over the top, but it is a TRUE 1080i/p game and you can sure tell by the looks of it. I think all you ninja-heads out there should give this a try. Keep it FAR FAR FAR away from Oni though as you'll probably NEVER get him away from it :D ;)

I actually am pretty unimpressed with the graphics and game play. Motorstorm and probably even Resistance IMO look and play better. Still though it is a decent game and a definitely worth a buy for people who have not played the original.

I haven't played Resistance yet and Motostorm severely disappoints me with its' forced 720p graphics, so it downgrades it to 480p on my tv instead of displaying at 1080i like Ninja Gaiden does.

the movement in sigma feels stiff, other then that i think it's pretty fun to play. no game can beat gt-hd's graphics and that has been out since christmas of '06

Played it on Xbox couple years ago. Loved it. Beat in after a couple of days. Might be a good reason to get a PS3 :)

Anything higher than a normal difficulty level is just too much though even for the most hardcore gamers. Just isn't fun when a boss kills you for the 100th time in a row. Very frustrating.

Really? I don't know if I'd describe it as stiff, I mean it is jerky but it responds quickly. Also, GT-HD while VERY VERY VERY nice looking is still missing Forza's gameplay. I'll reserve judgements on the graphics until I play the full version of FORZA because right not the crowd looks better on the PS3 GT-HD, the backgrounds/tracks are about equal but the car models are MUCH better in Forza2. Too bad the FULL version of GTHD is not going to be out until Q3/Q4 of 2008.

Considering that Sigma is a re-hash of a title that's been out for over 3 years, I think it looks pretty damn good. Remember that Motorstorm runs on the Unreal 3 Engine, so most titles using current engines won't hold a candle to its graphics.

Motorstorm actually uses an inhouse engine simply refered to a the Motorstorm engine.
