Plenty of power, except that I would invest in a new PSU anyway because the Smartpower series has capacitors that like to blow after a while. A Seasonic 380/430W or a Corsair HX520 would be fine.

He's correct :P

New psu would be nice, more piece of mind.

BTK,

Check out these threads then do a visual on your power supply caps:

It may or may not be your problem but a visual check should tell you. Your symptoms are similar to my experiences.

You don't have to open it, look inside from the exhaust end with a good bright light. This involves all the Smart Power and True Power series of Antecs.

Bulged tops on your purple capcitors or leaking capcitors as shown in the other threads I posted. Leakers will show a wet or black surface on their tops. The tops of them should be flat. If you see them rounding on the tops as if they want to expand, they are bulged and failing.

Turn off your flash. You'll see them if they are bad, especially the purple colored caps. You have more than enough power for your system. There is an thermal regulator that will turn off your power supply if it gets too hot. It could have been overheated or the regulator is bad. Three hours is still a good long time playing.

Visually checking your caps is the quickest way to diagnose known Antec SP and TP problems.

I just re-read your other post. If you don't have the random shutdown without using the surge in your UPS, then your UPS may be your problem.

BTK,

I use an APC BE650BB on this computer. It can handle 390 watts and should be plenty for yours. You can plug your monitor into the surge side and save ~ 45 watts. You don't need that on battery backup.
