hey.. what is the first steps that need to be taken when you overclock your cpu, like what options would you set first?

depending on the system on amd chips i would unlock the L1 bridges and then work with the fsb.. what kind of overclocking you trying out. give more info on the system and the hardware..

Basics: Best to start in the beginner guides. Also look into the CPU database for your CPU/mobo combination. Get good benchmarking progs (Sandra, 3dmark2001, etc)
