Does any one else have cooling issues with this card? I have an A+ Case with the 2-250mm fans, one on the front and one on the side. As well as a 120mm fan on the back for exhaust, plus the Thermaltake PS fan that sucks out alot of air. Is there any suggestions, other then Water cooling? Thanks for your time.
What cooling issues are you having?

The Graphic card gets real hot, and when I am playin games like Need for Speed Carbon, it starts out playin fine smooth as silk, but after about 15-30 minutes, the game starts getting alittle choppy. I figure from it being to hot. Is there any aftermarket coolers for the 8800GTX?

Make one. http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=499721
Use nvtemp logger( http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1194 ) and run the "logging" during gameplay.. That will give you an idea how hot the gpu is getting.

Thanks for the info OnDborder and will try that.
Thanks for the program I appreciate it. The 8800's can stand to get really hot, so it should be fine, even more so considering your case.
I'm having about the same problem out of my 8800gts.:(
It got hot and crashed out of MOH Allied assault. I would think that an older game like MOH wouldn't have any problem with this card.
I just ran ATI tool to get some temps.
51°c at idle
67°c at load
Those temps don't seem that high to me. I wonder if I covered up the slots at the rear if it would do better (force the hot air out of the case).
I think I'll boot down and cover them and retest.
Well I'm done with my little experiment. I put scotch tape over the vents in the card cooler and retested with Ati tool. Got the exact same temps.:bang head
I can feel a lot more air coming out of the rear of the case but the temps stay the same.:(
Edit: I bumped the SB voltage on mine one notch. The temps stayed the same but the gameplay seemed better. Time will tell.

DO you guys also think it could be Vista? I am also running Vista Ultimate. But I think it's because of Temp. Because at night when everything is cool the games run flawless. But during the day crash time. I dont think it's my case since I am running this case. But I dont know.
