It seems on all the OC guides I read and OC calculators that the memory only goes up to 200MHz in the examples, the mem I intend to get and overclock with is 800Mhz which kinda means it can't be used with the calcs. Or is it that mem works like CPU's and have a multiplier (e.g 200x4)??
The calc i'm talking about is: http://www.blurbdesigns.com/OcCalc/calc.htm
You are getting screwy answers because that Calc is intended for DDR memory. You are using DDR2. You are talking about DDR2-800, right? It's not at 800mhz but at 400.

Ok, damn, need a new calc :P And, yes DDR2-800/PC4600, and thanks for the info. Anyone know of a DDR2 OC calc similar to that one?
How about the calculator on your computer? Any calculator will be able to tell you the answer you are looking for. It just wont have mhz, FSB, etc. next to the numbers.

I'm rewriting the calc, can anyone tell me the dividers for 667, 800 and 1066 on an athlon board?. e.g for DDR2-533 its 5/4. It's the 5/4 type bit I need to know for them. I'm guessing 800 is 2/1 but the others are just silly beggars for getting into fractions. Are they listed with ratios at all infact?
@inkfx, Thanks matey, have gone down the track of rewriting it for anyone with the same questions as me who wants a quick calc. If you can help out with the divider fractions, that'd be grand.
