View Full Version : A fan to avoid for HTPCs!
I generally roam around looking for high-flow low-noise fans, and I stumbled upon one that definitely does not meet the latter of the two. FYI 54.4dB is not something you want in an HTPC or Silent application!

I like the warnings:
"Warning: Due to the size of the impeller, the fan is not able to reduce speed immediately after loss of power and can remain dangerous until its blades finally come to rest. (This may take as long as 10 seconds.)
Note: When using this fan on your case we recommend that you use it to exhaust air and not intake air to avoid damage to your components. "

uhhh yeah, definitely not for quiet applications :)
Looks like a monster though, and a finger chopper!

I still run many of these delta screamers in various applications. The nice twrill sound excites me everytime
