I just noticed it on the egg a few minutes ago. I didnt see any other threads about it so I thought I would post it. Its an X1950 Pro Dual (http://promotions.newegg.com/sapphire/051707/index.html). I just think its cool that it actually fits in just one PCI slot.

Never heard of it...I've been away from overclocking for a while now so I'm probably not the best source. Anyways, the 8800 and 2900 are out so I wouldn't get this. Now if they came out with a x2900 dual..... :D

Ya someone made a thread about this a few months ago, pretty much an answer to nvidias 7900GT2. But I agree with BenF, if your going to spend $430 might as well go Dx10. That is, unless you have the money and want it for bragging rights (who wouldn't want to tell people that their gfx card has more ram then most entire systems)

Wow, look how tall the card is! (Notice the PCI bracket and then the top of the card)

Even though it is big size wise, imagine the power requirements. 350w atleast would be my guess.

It would be a little cooler if it wasn't x1950 pro cores too. By cooler I mean "hey that's cool man" not "this card is hot!" ;)

I think with the prices of the new cards (8800 GTS's and x2900XT), this card really isn't a good deal. Perhaps around $300 and it wouldn't be too bad.

I did a search and didnt find any other threads. I guess I missed it.

If I had the money to waste I would buy one just to fold. You could probably get a decent amount of points out of it.

even still the x2900xt folds 75% more than an x1950xt

It's less than 2x X1950PRO = ~120W.

That's right. Also, the performance I am getting out of two x1950Pros makes me wish I had just waited a little while and got a DX10 card, so I would assume that there are similar results from this card's setup.
