Hey guys,

I just OCed my 8800GTS, I haven't had an nVidia card in a LONG time (ATI convert) and I just wanted to ask some questions. I've been using Riva tuner and the monitor kind of scared me because it shows an exclamation point next to the monitor for "Core clock \ shader domain, MHz". Now I figure that it's just complaining that the max it can display is 1500MHz (pic below), and there's no need for concern. Is this normal?

Also, I used ATItool (much more comfortable with this utility :) ) to scan for artifacts and it found artifacts almost instantaneously but I am 3DMark06, World of Warcraft, BF2142 stable, should I be concerned?

Thanks much!

Did you know you can use the latest version of ATITool to overclock Nvidia cards? You might consider just sticking with that. I also use it for artifact testing. It doesn't seem to detect them all that well (with the beeps and stuff) but I can watch for them manually. I used it to get my overclock on my 6600GT (570/1270 was the max I could get with my card/cooler w/o artifacts) I actually had it a fair bit higher and didn't get artifacts in ATITool, but playing Farcry for awhile made some artifacts show.
