Do you think it's worth it? If I should stick with air cooling...I was going to put another heatsink on their and get rid of the stock one...But the heatsink had that 3-pin wire hook-up and the I have now only fits the 2-pin kind... So whats best? only things that could be cooled is the chipset which really does not get hot....Or my Ati Radeon which has it's own fan and I never had it lock up yet.
Your PII 450 only puts out about 36 watts. I would not mess with it unless you want the fun of building a watercooled rig. FWIW, dual PII 400s don't even have fans on the heatsinks.

I would have to take the plastic coveing off right? oh also for the chipset....the heatsink should not be able to "twist" a little when you try and turn it right?
I never cracked a PII package open so I can't help you there. Stock chipset heatsinks often have a little wiggle in them.
