Just ordered a white water, does it need to be lapped?

Id assume yes because it seems like all blocks these days need to be lapped, but i just wanted to make sure. If i need to i want to get all the materials ready before it gets here.

I don't think it would warrant lapping... check it first.

If you do lap it, be careful how much metal you take off. The base is already very thin on the white waters.

You most likely won't need to lap it. Dtek's White Waters are built pretty well. Remember, flatness > mirror finish.

I would have to say it depends on how good you lap. If you lap very good, then lap it. If you suck at lapping and might make it worse, like I do, leave it alone.
