I was wondering why my transfer rate is so low with my satas. Here is my info using hdtune.
70 mb/s with segate sata ii - 160 gb
78.6 mb/s with maxtor sata ii - 500 gb
30.3 mb/s hitatchi deskstar pata - 160 gb
my system:
asrock sli32 esata 2 motherboard
athlon 64 4000 o/c 3.0ghz
1 gig of ddr 400 ram
windows xp pro
my controller will support both pata, sata and esata. I though sata was supposed to have 300mbs transfer rates? I'm not even getting 150 mbs :( Is this normal?
Any utilities I should run so you guys can get a better look at my system and determine the true hard drive transfer rates?
