just wondering why sisoft sandra says my CPU temp is 27.0C
but my COMPUNURSE says it is 42.0 C. i know that software monitoring can be off but by 15.0 C ?? sometimes more....
any ideas? i'd love to believe that my xp 1600 is running at 27C
but somehow i doubt it...

Sandra picks up the wrong probes on my board. (kt7a) For some reason, abit assigned the probes numbers in reverse order.

As a general rule, don't trust software monitoring. Trust the compunurse, that's closer to your actual reading. Check to see if your in socket termistor is contacting the backside of the CPU as well.
