I did'nt know which topic to post this under so i put it under cpu's because i suppose it has something to do with that!

I have a 300w PSU these are the voltages on each line

+12v = 12.240
+5v = 4.850
+3.3v = 3.230

Vcore = 1.800

Are these voltage lines ok or do i need a new PSU someone said to me it s the quality of the cpu not the the wattage!

It really depends on what system you have & what you use it for. Make a sig of your system specs so we know how to better help you:beer:

PSUs vary considerably in quality and the ability to deliver the power where you need it. With a quality PSU, like Antec, Enermax and a few others, a 300W PSU will suffice for your setup. If you envision getting an Athlon (non-XP) in the future, you probably should consider getting a quality 350 or 400W unit. The voltages you are currently getting and I assume you took those readings while the PSU was under load, are okay. Not great, but okay. In most PSUs you can adjust the +5V output via a trim pot inside. If, under load, you find you can not adjust the +5V output up to 5V, then chances are your PSU is operating at the maximum of its capacity and you have no choice but to get a better/bigger one.
I'm a staunch fan of Antec supplies. They deliver as promised.

I have a GYRO 300W PSU wich runs my new Duron 800 @ 850 w/ stock vcore and the 5V line is 5.03 under full load... my volts haven't budged for hours! And I mean not even a 0.01V!!!
