Hello, I don't know if this is a big problem or not a problem at all, and that problem is that my AMD ATHLON 1600+ XP is running at 1050 mhz which is suppose to run at 1.47 ghz and I have no clue of why is that. Any1 have an idea of why is that please help me, oh and my mother board is an

you need to change the FSB to 133 not 100. there should be a jumper on the motherboard or a way to change it in the bios.
Welcome to the forums. Kendal already figured it out for you the multiplier is 10.5 so 100fsb x 10.5=1050mhz. once you move a jumper or change this setting in the bios your chip will be at 10.5x133 will be 1400 not 1470mhz.

I got your private message you need to check out the manual here http://sj.dfi.com.tw/frame.asp looks like it is jp10 that you need to move it is next to the ram above the multiplier switches. the pdf in the manual section should help you a whole bunch. let me know how it is going.
