I'm asuming that your board does as your using it!
If it doesn't then www.driverguide.com will have the drivers/bios updates.
Basically you go into the BIOS and the Multiplier (6x-15x) should now be available to freely change whereas before it wasn't, I assume you know about how much to oc and the VCore and FSB so i'll leave it at that!
Good Luck and don't forget to keep an eye on temps!!!
Need any help then ask me!
You need to read this (http://www.overclockers.com/topiclist/index04.asp#BEGINNER GUIDES). Trust me it'll be a blast:D

In the bois it says in red IF! the cpu is unlocked you can change
the Multiplier upto 13x and that was there before i even unlocked my CPU (its a ASUS A7V266-E motherboard btw) ...
I do have 3D mark 2000, 3D mark 2001and Sandra if this is any help ?
i realy need to test it . i dont have a mutimeter
thanx

Basically 13 Multiplier is higher than the default so it looks like you've done it, when you boot the BIOS will give a reading of your CPU, IE: AMD Thunderbird 133x10 1330 MHZ
When you select a diff multiplier it will change to say 133x13 1729.
If it changes when you boot up then you have successfully done it!!!! I would set the mutliplier up .05 at a time otherwise your chip may not handle it!
3DMARK 2000/2001 are good for testing stability if you loop if over and over, Sisoft Sandra has a stability test and gives you loads of info as well about you board CPU etc.
Let me know how you get on!
every thing goes to fast on boot up but i dont think its worked cos its still unstable @1.7ghz , ill have to try again tomorow ....

Make sure you change the Multiplier not the FSB, put the FSB to lowest so its stable then see how high the chip will go!!!
at the mo my bois settings are ........
cpu 12.5x13x
systems .pci frequeny Mhz 148\37
systems SDRAM frequeny ratio 133:133
CPU Vcore 1.800volts
this make it run at 1.702 ghz (systems info on 3Dmark 2000)

DID U CHANGE THE MULTIPLIER?????????
WAS IT SAY 11 and you changed it to 12?????
Oh and 7800 is a very good 3dMark 2001 score.
i could pick any Multiplier before i had ago at unlocking the CPU...
but in the bois its says in red you can change the Multiplier if the CPU is unlocked if not it will set at defualt i think was 12x ?

Maybe it came unlocked!
Where did you buy it from?
Anyway If you can change the multiplier I would set it to like 8 and then try to get a REALLY high fsb! Like 170Mhz.....
I got it from overclockers uk as a bundle wth the hsk and mobo http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_AMD_TBird_Bundles_40.html (top one )
if dont say its unlocked ?
i cant set the bois to 5x/14x but iv got it se at 12.5x/13x which i thinks odd ?

I spoke to OCuk and they said that they don't sell unlocked XP's as there is not a effiencent method of unlocking them correctly yet.
Looks Like if you can't select a multiplier of below 10X (it just reverts to default) then it isn't unlocked correctly, Hundreds of poeple have unlocked their Xp's and had trouble. SO to be honest I don't think there is a correct way of doing it yet.
I would try unlocking it again to be sure its done correctly then if it still doesn't work try to find the problem.
Good Luck,
Nick
