i need 30' of the rubber c-strip that comes with window kits...

what are some other trade names for it so i can get it in bulk at bulk price instead of 3' for $10 and such?

If you want C shaped molding, go to Kragen, or Pep Boys, or any auto parts store, they have it (It's used for the edges of car doors though). If you want "H" chaped molding, the only place you can get it is online, and you have to pay a bloddy FORTUNE for it, no matter where you go.

you should be able to pick up both the "C" and "H" shaped molding at an auto body repair supply shop.

thanks...but i hate dealing with the retards at kragen...they're called schucks here...i guess because its the polite word you use when you've discovered they sold you the wrong part...

i just figure those who sell it retail online must get it wholesale from somewhere and then rename it "c-strip"...
i could save $$ if i knew the actual manufacturer and/or product name...

Try going to a regular windows store like "ABC glass" they can order for you without gouging you

I bought a box of 25' black C shaped molding at Pep Boys... the manufacturer is StyleGuard, and the name of the product is "Automotive Door Edge Molding"

yea, it works really well... it's adhesive on the inside and hasn't fallen off yet, and it looks great. They make the same thing in a couple other colors too... I got a few short strips of silver, it's pretty nice.

it was cheap... I bought it a long time ago, but I think the 25' box was between ten and fifteen dollars
