I have 2 prescotts ready to go in an IC7, which should I use?
SL7E4
SL7PM
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Do they have varying stock vcores or are they all the same?

Just taking a stab at it, I would try the SL7PM first. It's an E0 stepping compared to the SL7E4 being a D0 stepping so I would think it would have a more refined core. But it's still pretty much luck of the draw though in overclocking abilities.

Judging by the stats for the SL7E4, it has a lower minimum voltage. Does that mean it's default voltage would be lower too? Do they all have the same default vcore or does it vary by what the processor tested at?
if your gunna be OCing then try both and see how far they go...there shouldnt be much noticable diference in stock performance.

I'll be overclocking them. Just wondering which one is probably going to be the better overclocker. Guess i'll just try all of them (I have 3 to try). Whee!! Go old school overclocking!
