i bought these be4 i got my ti500.. well when i got my ti500 it has these cool blue colored ram sinks on it.. and i love the color, it goes with my blue theme. but what im wondering is if, these copper/tin ram sinks would be worth the trouble and putting them on?
im gonna get a crystal orb soon, so they'd match great.
pros/cons?
thx

well i put them on, and took off the old ones, and i lost 100+ pts in 3dmark 2k1 for some reason.. i even upped my core/memory 5mhz and i was still lower by 5 pts.. :(
waste of money i guess.. oh well

yea, i was just tired too much to do so.. maybe the heat from running it for a day has primed them or something.. ill have to run 3dmark in a few, and play ut for an hour, and see if im stable.. i wish i had a digi cam so i could show u guys, but i just got a webcam, and its hard to see with the vic card in the case..

That's really odd.. you shouldn't loose performance if the clockspeed is the same. You sure something else hasn't changed?

nope, i even upped the sppeds like i said, and my 3dmark2k1 was till a bit lower... i got stable (played UT for about 2 hrs) @ the speeds in my sig.. so ive been able to get a lil higher in speeds and pts, but i lost pts when keeping the same speed when i had stock sinks on then my tin ones.. oh well tho..
