After succesfully stepping the FSB up 25MHz at a time I got to 325FSB with no issues.

Tried 350 FSB. It booted to windows but Orthos errored out within 30 sec of starting it. Upped Vcore in the Bios to 1.35 and tried again.

Orthos took longer to error out but it still did fairly quickly. I've cranked the FSB down to 340 and so far so good.

FSB 340
Vcore set to 1.35v
Orthos Stable for 20 minutes.
Temps have hit a high load of 66*C

Stuck with the FSB at 340.
Tried upping the RAM to 850. System would not post.
Backed the FSB down to 333, RAM still OC'd. System wouldn't boot to windows.
Tried upping the ram volts from 2.0 to 2.1 (still within factory spec) System still wouldn't boot to windows. Loosened the timmings from 5-5-5-15 to 6-6-6-15. System still wouldn't boot to windows.

hmmmmm. . . .seems with this ram I'm stuck at a ram speed of 678 if I wanna run the CPU at or over 3.0GHz. I'm open to ideas.

Ok, backed the FSB down to 320. This let me up the RAM to its 800MHz stock frequency and tighten the timmings down to 4-4-4-12 (factory spec). I'm only running my CPU at 2.88GHz for the time being. I'm looking for ideas on how to OC the RAM at a higher FSB.

OR does someone know if a Higher CPU Frequency will have a bigger impact on game performance than RAM Speed. Please let me know. Here is a screeny from what I currently have set:

My original thread on this is posted here (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=513179). My first post in that thread lists all the hardware I have in this rig.

That's what I thought during my OC as well, but then after I increased the vcore to 1.35 I managed to get my RAM at 835 and orthos is still running now.

But then it seems you're aiming for a higher oc than me :)

I'm far from an expert, but I'd suggest you increase in smaller increments and not by 25 every time. It sure takes patience, but I increased the FSB by 5 every time.

Good luck!!!

Higher FSB provides much more performance than running the RAM faster.

You can probably reach 350 FSB with 1.4v, but I don't recommend it until you improve cooling. If you are already seeing 66 degrees, you might want to back it down a little more for now.
