How do I determine how many fans, drives, etc many power unit can handle? Is it adding up the amp's?

ok, well i have a 300 watt psu that came with my enlight case...this is running my 1.33 right now(at stock speed) a cd-rw drive, 2 80mm fans, blue orb, 1 92mm, and my thermoengine heatsink fan which is the 7k fan, floppy drive, and my motherboard.....i have most of the on-board peripherals turned off and the damn thing still restarts every once and a while under full load....so my guess is, (if you have an amd chip) go to the amd website, and they have a chart that will tell you what kind of psu your speed of chip will run with......if it says 300, get a 400, and if i says 350, get a 430w. you prolly get it tho...ill look for the link real fast tho
edit: here is the site GO HERE (http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_869_1039^1053,00.html)
Make sure you add 2.5 watts for each usb device plugged into the mobo. Self powered hubs don't count.
If the total is within 75% of a psu's rating, go up one size higher.

get a enermax 350watt or 430watt and you should be able to run anything you want without a problem
