I am thinking of getting a used xfx card from someone on craigslist.
He has just got this card back from rma with them. it is still in the fed-ex box.
i am not sure yet if he has registered it to get the dbl lifetime warr. and to transfer it to me.

does anyone know if the warr. can still be transfered after the card has been rma'd.

the card is a 7950gt 512 mb.

Are you sure that the double lifetime warranty was used at the time he bought that card? I think it was differerent for those older cards.

i dont have it installed yet. going with a new build. still need that vid card, mb(m2n-sli) and cpu.(5600+)
im upgradeing 2 puters at once so i have to spread the cash around.
as soon as i get the one built i can sell 2 and that will pay for the other stuff.

go over to the corsair forums and look around or post abou it. the ram guy is pretty sharp

Ah I'm sure its normal anyway not too concerned about it.. as long as it does not trip a breaker or act as if its overheating I'm not too worried about it
