Bored out of my mind.. know any fun/free pc games??

i'm bored out of my mind.. i got 2 weeks before school starts again, and don't have anything to do because i got fired from my job (don't ask..). I remember when i was in like middle school, there were free games like Infantry zone and stuff, that were multiplier games and were free.. last time i checked that one cost money.

do u guys know of any free online games that are strategy type like red alert, star craft or something or maybe like infantry zone? i've been googling but can't find anything thats fun..

plus my graphic card isn't that great.. so it can't be that graphic intense
i have a radeon x1300, 5600+x2, 2gb of ram

I dont know of any games that you might like, but theres http://acid-play.com/ and http://demonews.com/ that always have decent free games.

whoa! those are a lot of games, i've already started on some of them, and they're all pretty fun. Spent 6 hours on that flashelemental alone, lol!
now gonna try maplestory

Dude infantry zone was the best free game ever made... but then (like a year later) you had to buy a subscription later.... that was the end of me playing... but someone needs to make a clone of that game!

I agree.. Infantry was one of the best games.. till SOE got ahold of it and made it Pay to play.. then it died within days.

1 free game along the same lines but older and still fun as hell is SubSpace/Continuum.. top down space shooter with real intertia.. makes dogfights seriously skill based and luck. Its the only game that is ALWAYS installed on my machines

Here is a free MMO. Server can be flaky at times, and you have to watch out getting PK'ed(Player killed).
