hi
i need to make a mobo tray out of ALU for my next project
doe's anyone have the measurements for a mAtx Mobo tray?
This can get you started.
I made it a long time ago from an ATX tray I had, but MATX uses much the same.
It's in millimeters.
A quick look into my AOpen computer shows it also uses two bolts centered straight out from the 4th backplane slot down...sorry I can't be more exact than that, I don't have a tape handy.
They're centered below the two at 143mm up (x 167mm and x 204mm), but just below the 98mm mark.

As for depth, well, I've had cases that use 1/2" standoffs and ones that used 3/8" standoffs, so I'd say that's a custom measurement you'd have to make.
I use nuts to secure the standoffs to the motherboard (upside down from normal) and set the motherboard onto the tray with it's IO plate in place to mark those locations.
Have a groovy day!
Try looking at the ATX specs. ATX (http://www.formfactors.org/developer%5Cspecs%5Catx2_1.pdf)
