I came across one of these (http://www.senstron.com/eta500.htm), and I'd like to know if it would be good for powering a peltier. To me it seems like a golden opportunity, but I want to make sure before I snatch it up.

BTW, I've read the article about modding an AT PS for a pelt.

it has enough amps but I donno if there is enough volts there to handle a very big pelt
AT psu arnt realy made for redundant power so if you do get one have plenty of cooling on it and check for smoke:D

I doubt that any OCer would have a qualm about putting a fan or two (or three or four or five or six) on a PS to keep it from smoking anything but the competition. Maybe I could even pelt cool the PS!!

lol, i havent heard that one be4.. thats kinda crazy.. pleting resies in watercooling were crazy, but that overrules it... if i can mod my WB i may go plet myself.. maybe i could make my own rain :)
