...the Blue Orb or the Crystal Orb? I was want to put a good cooler on my video card (ATI All-In-Wonder 128 with 16MB) and my Northbridge (Mobo: ECS K7S5A). I've been told that the Crystal has better cooling because of the finish, but the top seems to be alittle blocked for really good air flow.

I don't see how a polished finish would help air cooling, but that purty fan cover can't be doing you any favors. Besides, how would anyone see it while it's sandwiched close to the next pci card anyway? I think it's just eye candy while you're shopping, and for my money, it's a waste.
On the northbridge, it would look sweet though, and it's got to cool better than that puny little thing on there now.

Well, I was planning on putting heatsinks on my memory (praying for a Radeon 7500 which I can get for $113 with 3 day shipping) and I guess I could combine that with a Blue Orb for good cooling. The Blue Orb is cheaper any way! I'm not going for a "cool" factor; just the cooling factor. ;)

Thanks for the help Dissolved! I usually shop at the Heatsink Factory and they have it for 14.99. I don't mind because I save on shipping and handling because they have everything that I need/want and I only pay for it once when it comes to s&h.

It's not copper tin, its copper/nickel

ALUMINUM FINS
COPPER PREBASE
NICKEL BASE

nickel is a worse conductor of heat than copper... interestin...
