SimCity 3000 Unlimited Question...

I have SimCity 3000 Unlimited, running on an Athlon 1.0@1.13Ghz with 512Mb DDR memory; vid card: a Radeon 32Mb DDR. I STILL experience lag when running a really big city.

What does it take to get this game to run smoothly? An Alpha? Cray super computer? It is obvious that this game started out in the Mac realm, and do they just not care?

I am just curious. It is playable, but when you have a good system, it is disconcerting to feel like I am back on my 486...

some games are just like that

although i have never had that problem with sim city3k

but i still have to make a bootdisk for xwing just so it will play

I play simcity 3G alot and when the cities get big the game does lag. I think its just in the programing of the game.

Still an awesome game though:)
