I know pci-e is better but just don't have the money to move just yet. Besides waiting until next spring to upgrade. Anyway which card is better? I haven't been able to see any benchmarks on them.

I thought nvidia's fastest AGP was the 7900GS (haven't heard of the 7950XT )

But between the x1950pro and 7900GS, I believe the x1950pro is a fair bit faster.

EDIT: Oh I see..there's a 7950GT AGP card....but on Newegg it's $270

The x1950XT is still cheaper than the 7950GT and it will perform a little better.

So IMO it's:

x1950XT > 7950GT > x1950pro

But considering price:

x1950pro > x1950XT > 7950GT

Yeah the price is way better then the 7950xt. And I just need it to hold me down until spring, when I'll do a full upgrade. So the 1950pro it is. But one thing, Should I get the 256mb or 512?

At what resolution will you be gaming?

1280x1024 or in some games 1024x768.

Yeah, I'd think that the 256 would be fine for those resolutions. There's a pretty big difference in price between the256 and 512. So I'd say if you were willing to spend that much, then you should go for the x1950XT.

But the x1950pro 256MB should be fine for 1024x768 and 1280x1024

Not to be off topic... but arent XT nvidia cards the equivalant of SE edition ATi cards? (Sounds like it would be better but its actually the value line?)
