Need some information on converting MKV and OGG to burn to DVD. Any programs that are specifically designed for this or any programs that are capable of doing so?

i dont know of any freeware programs that do that.

It doesn't have to be freeware, anything that is capable that you would recomend.

I'm assuming you don't want to convert them to .avi and then burn them right?
Can't think of anything, googling atm.

What about Avi2DVD (http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/avi_to_dvd_avi2dvd.cfm)? Looks like it supports .mkv
Also ConvertXtoDVD (http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vso_convertxtodvd_guide.cfm)
