SLI question

the card i'm using right now is an XFX geforce 7900 GT. i was looking to purchase another one to SLI it but the place i buy my computer parts from (know a guy there so i can get it nice discounts !) says the card is discontinued and they don't get shipments of it anymore. instead they have an EVGA geforce 7900 GT.

so my question is, would i be able to hook these 2 up in SLI even tho they are made by different manufacturers?

the exact model and specs of the 2 video cards are

XFX GEFORCE 7900GT 470MHz 256MB 256BIT DDR3 VIVO DUAL DVI
EVGA 256-P2-N567-AX GEFORCE 7900GT KO 256MB DDR3 580MHZ DVI- DVI

thanks in advance for any helpful repliesYes, as long as it has the same core, your fine (ie: 7800gt will work with a 7800gt, 7800gt will not work with a 7900gt).
