radeon le driver with winxp

i just winstalled xp pro on my puter and did the whole windows update thing, and it says it has an updated driver for my card, but hen i try to install it from win update it tells me that it hasn't been approved for xp . . . oh, well, anyway, can someone tell me what driver they have running stably on this system, if anyone has same basic setup? also, is there somewhere i can go for drivers other than rage3d and ati? thanks, fokes . . .

Hardware Manufacturers tend to also have drivers.

Any.... particular reason you can't use the ATI drivers?

Yeah, why not just use the drive that ATI recommends using? Just click OK on the install part when it tells you that it has found a new driver that hasnt been digitally signed by MS. MS is so far behind on drivers signatures it isnt even funny. You cant really expect them to be able to keep up anyhow.

I recommend using ATi as well. The Windows Update is a terrible place to get new drivers. If you'd really rather not use ATi stock drivers for some crazy reason, go to www.omegacorner.com and get the latest version of those.
