mbprobe issue

I am running windows xp pro and the system with the specs below. I am using mbprobe to analyse my temps, but am frustrated because when I put mbprobe in the startup folder, I get an error saying that the giveio.sys isn't ready yet (not exactly sure what the message is, but that's basically what it meant). Anyway, It works fine if I open it after windows is up but not on startup. Also I am running 1.31 beta 3 and I think the newest ntinstall (giveio.sys). Anyone have any ideas?

that is kinda odd...well, it is a beta version, and it originally was designed for Win9X, so I guess a few problems aren't so bad. The NT support does seem to be a bit of a hack job, I bet XP is more picky than W2K cuz mine works on startup no problem. I love MBprobe personally.

Might want to email the author- I'm sure he would help you out.:D
