Just followed the Tomshardware unlock video and meticulously reconnected the L1 Bridges and it is a thing of beauty. Currently running at 133X11.5 for a wonderful 1533 (1800+). The temp was right at 35 deg C so I actually lowered the Vcore by .025v and still rock solid. Will experiment higher later.
Using a coolermaster on a EPOX 8KHA+, 512 Crucial DDR. Smokin

Used regular super glue and circuit works conductive ink pen. I tested the ink pen at the electronics store on a voltmeter before I bought it. .0001 Ohms. (Virtually no resistance) I also used a sharp brand new razor blade from a window scraper to level the dried superglue mound flush with the top of the CPU. This left a perfectly smooth surface across the pits for which the conductive ink covered perfectly.

Great job! How can you work with such a small area? Did you use a magnifying glass? I want to unlock my 1700 (currently running at 11x150). I know my memory can do higher but my CPU won't keep up with it.

Up the memory voltage, lower the timings...

DO you have a 8KHA+ by any chance? As their new BIOS has a RAM divider so you can OC to like 200FSB and your RAM is only 150FSB!!!

I unlocked my XP1600 two weeks ago using the superglue\rear window defogger repair kit. Took a few tries due to unsteady hands (damn asthma medication), but I got it. I originally thought I had botched it because on first boot it came up at an 11x multi, a sign of a flubbed bridge job. Further testing showed I was successful. I'm currently at 11x145=1595. It boots nicely at 12x133. I'm still in the process of making adjustments every few days trying different multi vs fsb. I think next I'm going to try 11x140=1610. I'd like to do a volt mod to the mobo and take it higher.

Good Luck and Well Done,

by the way if you want to do a Volt Mod ask Doctor, he's the expert!

See "Get your Volt Mods Here!" in the AMD Motherboards section...

The 2200+ thourough bred is coming out in Feb, its at only 1.65VCore! And its either 1.8Ghz or 1.86Ghz.

And it will go into all existing XP boards.

I don't know if its .13 Micron though, the new Hammers will be though!

Congrats on successfully unlocking your chip! If only I had one to try! ;)
