I'm trying to figure out the best way to design my case before i buy all the acrylic and mess it up.
My plan so far is to use .25 inch acrylic, have the motherboard upside down (like a wtx i believe) on the left side of the case, with the psu sitting on the bottom right in the back. The cdrw and dvd will be next to the isa slot and over to the top right of the front of the case.
I have been trying to figure out a compromise with dust, airflow, and looks. I think i want my heatercore on the bottom of the case, sucking air in. The psu will suck air from next to the cpu and blow out the back. then i was going to put two 92mm fans on the top, toward the back of the case. not sure about this though, i think maybe it would look stupid like that. maybe i would rather have them shooting out of the right panel, near the back right?
So as it stands, i would have no fan ducted up to the heatercore. I think that would work but i could always leave room to put a fan in later if necessary.
Any one have ideas on this? i'm trying to make it as small as i can with all my stuff in it, (the kt7a isn't the smallest board and i have regular size psu and two cds.)
The radiator could go on the top but i think it would be covered up somewhat by the back of the top cd, given the current dimensions.
thanks for the help.
