Fry's

I just had my first experience with fry's. I went with the antec 900 deal last week. They shipped it out next day and their shipping rates were very very reasonable, $8 and some change to ship a case 3 days. Over all I am very impressed. I can see them stealing some of my business away from the egg.

yeah fry's is good when they have their crazy deals. I'm lucky enough to have one close to where I am staying for the summer. Its nice to go into a retail shop and not pay 150%+ of neweggs prices for the same item

They have nice hard drive deals at times, and sometimes really crazy case prices =). (antec p180 for 50 bucks AR)Though newegg is there for me when i have other stuff to buy =)

like most B&M stores its not worth buying most things there vs online unless they have good advertised sales (frys advertised sales are beyond awesome though). However even without these sales frys is simply an awesome place to see.

I am lucky enough to be surrounded by 3 of them within a 5 mile radius whle in school :) Also their retail stores all have a different theme so no one store really looks the same.

I love the Fry's retail store here, but the only time I will be buying online from them is if they have something that is just a tremendous deal that doesn't even come close at Newegg. I have received a few items from Fry's without a lot of hassle, but more often than not there has been a problem with orders placed for online Fry's. Bait and switch has happened a couple times and a few other issues as well. For me, I would rather pay a few dollars more and get it from Newegg (although I won't pay like twice as much or anything like that hehe) since I know that (1) they probably won't screw up my order and (2) even if something DOES get screwed up, they will go out of their way to make it right and I don't have to fight with them about getting my money back, or an exchange, or what have you. That kind of peace of mind is worth a few dollars to me.
