Hey guys, I'm interested in joining the benchmarking team and was wondering how to go about it? I've been wanting to join for a while now and now I can't find any info on joining. :eh?: Thanks for a swift kick in the right direction.

Yeah I read a little about that a while ago but the only benchmarks I run are Superpi, and BF2!! :D I might be interested though, looks like fun.

Hey dylskee,

You can still 'join' the Team and post the benchmarks you like to run such as Pi in the HWBot threads. You get the official Team title when all the requirements are met but don't let that stop you from posting benches ;)

Once you start you won't be able to stop........ only good thing that came out of benching for me was the discovery of a very cool video game. It's called 3DMark01SE. The more you play it the more you want your computer to play it faster. The faster you make your computer the more you play it. The more you play it the faster you want to make your computer so it can play it faster. It's a never ending cycle. Did I mention it's a cool game? And it's cost effective because you don't need a joystick or game controller. Always search for the positives in your addiction. :D

Once I get my new rig up and running I'll hopefully be able to join, I only need a few more benchmarks assuming my old rigs scores count. I can't wait to see what goes on in the underground world of benchmarkers :sn:

I'm about two hours away from finishing my case mods, then I have to pick my parents up at the airport, and then I'll start assembling my new system!

Yeah, your old rig scores will certainly count, no problem. We could sure use another quad core on the team.

If you check the first post of the stickys you will find a link to download the software for that particular benchmark.

Well, I've hit a little speed bump... I need to RMA my motherboard, so I won't have anything new for another week or two :(
