If this needs to be moved to general hardware, go ahead, I just thought this would be a good place to start.

I've never used Usb before, and I got a digital camera that uses it. My problem is, the instructions are in German. I figured the camera out, like how to take pics, but how do I transfer them to the computer?

Many thanks.

just plug in the camera to the usb port and it will recognize it. the only dig. camera ive ever used, you had to open the program that came with it, and then plug it in. or at least thats what it said, but I think you'll be ok just plugging it in.

(NOTE: This is how I do it with my Sony camera)

Install the USB driver from a CD that came with the camera (if any, but I'm sure there is something...).
Restart your computer.
Make sure the camera is off, then plug it into the computer with that USB cable, and turn the camera on. In My Computer, another drive should appear. It will be the next available one. (ex: if you have A:, C:, D:, E:, drives, the camera will take the F: drive)

I just open Paint Shop, then go File>Open, then select the drive of the camera (the one that appeared), and select the picture(s), and click open. Like plague said, it might be a little bit different for your camera. Make sure that before unplugging the camera from the PC, it is turned off.

Hope this helps!

I figured it out. I used Corel Photo house and used the camera selection from there.
Also, using Psp7 I had to import the files with TWAIN.

Thanks for the replies though.;)
