View Full Version : HELP monitor screen is shaking!!

hi all i have a serious problem, my the picture on my monitor is shaking slightly left and right up and down, like the whole picture is shaking, i have reset it degaused it, raised the refresh rate to 75hz it still shaking! i have a sony triniton multiscan E400 its less then a a year old..can anyone please help me!?

is there any speakers or magnetic stuff by it?

nothing, i havent moved it since the day i bought it and i havent put anything new next to it since

i'm sorry guys, i had a mini heater all the way on the other side of the room i just brought in..i cant believe i didnt check that fist! sheesh i spent an hour on this and it was that little heater! cant believe it would cause that from 20ft away tho..oh well

I don't mean to laugh, but I've done that and it sucks!
Last stinking thing you think of.
Do you have a Good Surge protector or APC on that particular circuit?

yup have an apc and a very good surge protector on that circuit :)

I had that happen once. Had the transformer for my joystick sitting under the monitor, took me a couple weeks to find it. It only happened at certain resolutions though:rolleyes:
