jump the psu to get it running w/o the mobo then use an ohm meter or whatever you call the darn thing, to test the voltage on the 5v line.

Well here are my 0.02, people can really state anything if what your saying is correct, since you may get a faulty or a good one most likely a good one. But its most likely Enermax have found the problem and fixed the bug in their lastest products that they made...

I have it... idle is 4.92 v, stress is 4.89. It is decreasing from when I bought it, but not by much. I have a friend who has one, and his started dropping until he could only run his Athlon 1.33 @ 800 mhz... it was 4.55 v. BTW, this was an Iwill motherboard.

I got a healthy one:D The problem can't really be fixed 'cause production tolerances on the 5V rail is ±.25V so even if it reads 4.75V it'll still pass their quality control. Ivy Shen from Enermax e-mailed me & said that if it causes problems the thing to do is send it back & the reseller would either repair it or replace it.

ok guys, i started to get some idea on this brand...but as what Tsunami said, they should have fixed the problem with their new line of psu.....mine is the Whisper 431W, not the orginal one, so i guess i'm alright then, right?:D
