why have a clunky POS like that?
spend a little more and grab something like this
http://www.amazon.com/XtremeMac-IPV-MIK-10-MemoMic-Lapel-Micromemo/dp/B000KCX9U6/ref=sr_1_6/103-4057302-1947062?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1182924001&sr=8-6
a lapel microphone works alot better and is alot less clunkier.

i personally wouldn't want a lapel mic. i don't want wires clipped on me, its bad enough my headphones have wires.
i use the mic that came with my p5b-d sometimes, but ususally i use one of these: http://www.woodbrass.com/images/woodbrass/SHURE+SM58+LCE.JPG
obviously i don't mind clunky. ;) it sits on my desk just fine.

true, but you get what you pay for. i wouldn't buy it just for playing CS:S, total overkill ;)
I would get the cheapest radioshack one you can buy, it's fine for games

This is a great mic. I've had mine for over 4 years now and it's still going strong. It sits on my desk and picks up everything great.

Do you actually beatbox?
I know plenty of people who beatbox with that mic.

well, i did say for games it is overkill. i didn't buy it for gaming mind you. what i bought it for, it really is true, you get what you pay for.
for talking online, the mic that came with my motherboard works perfectly. its similar to the one you are getting.
