Performance question

If I were to invest in 2 x 1GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 1066, what sort of performance difference could be seen in comparison to 2 x 1GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800? I suppose by that I mean...how much more will it help me OC an upcoming e6750?

They will be fairly equal at any given frequency. The Corsair should allow a higher memory OC based on the speed grades. However, they are made with either the same or very similiar ICs so in all likelihood the performance will be VERY similiar including the top memory speed. The only tangible thing you would be buying is a guarantee from the manufacturer that the Corsair will hit DDR1066.
