Hi, looking to upgrade my generic psu to an aftermarket one. Looking at the sparkles and enermax EG365P-VE (350W) on Pham's website. I'm running a Duron 600 at
950-100mhz on a Abit KT7-A Raid board. Plan on getting a 1.4 Tbird also. Have been hearing some bad things about the Enermax in some of the post here. Any truth to them? Would really like to get the Enermax for some reason though. Also, will my raid board suport the Enermax Whisper EG365P-VE (FC)??.

Thanks for the opinions and have a Merry Christmas

Well, the absolute best would be from www.pcpowerandcooling.com . Problem is that they're priced almost twice as much as others. You get what you pay for, though. One problen that I know of is that some of the Enermax's don't have a warranty on them. I can't confirm this, but there was a picture posted once that said "24 Month Limited Warranty," so you might want to look into that.

Well the "bad posts" maining concern the conflict with enermax and epox mobos. But since you got a abit your fine. :D As for the EG365P-VE, it'll work just fine with ur board. Tho if you can i would suggest getting the newer whisper model, as they've resolved most of the 5v rail issues. :burn:
