Do you rent or buy? simple question..
-----------------
Mods please make a poll with the options..
Buy
Hollywood Video Unlimited Game Rental
Blockbuster GamePass
Gamefly
Other
----------------
Anyways, i pay $22 a month at hollywood video for games, a single game at a time for as long as i want. I cant bring it back, change it for a new one as many times in the month as i want. Hell ive even done it 3 times in 1 day before LOL..
I actually dont like buying games unless i asbolutely love them.. Ive bought Guitar Hero 2, Crackdown and another game and some older Xbox games that are compatible because they were some of my dads favorites..
so what do you choose? Renting or buying?
If they poll ever gets up and you choose OTHER please elaborate :)

lat time I rented was right after I bought my Wii and I wanted to try some titles..and I rented one game from blockbuster and it was like $8, and I asked well do you do anything shorter than a week?...and they're like no....I thought it was a huge rip off...once a system gets some used games there's almost no point because renting is so expensive unless you have gamefly or something...

see thats another thing that bugs me, blockbuster has the same deal almost as hollywood, for $20 a month you can rent as many different games as you want 1 at a time..
I feel that Im not gonna pay $60 for a game that ill beat once or twice in a few days. There's no real reason to buy a game you beat in a few days and probably will not play again. Especially some of these games that dont have multiplayer.

I buy games once in a blue moon, was never into renting them.

I usually buy, but I typically go for titles that have either (a) long single-player or (b) a strong multi-player component. I seldom rent these days, especially since it's around $9 to rent at Blockbuster.

I only buy special games like I bought Forza the day it came out, same with San Andreas and I'll usually buy all the sports games each year because of their replay value, but most games I'll just rent and decide if they have enough replay value for purchase or not. Last game I bought was God of War and I should've rented it because I beat it in one day and now I'm done with it, because the replay value is nill. I'm just glad it was a $20 Greatest hits game.

Personally I buy my games, I picked up Harry Potter for the Wii and I've been enjoying that for the last two days. I'm also about 1/3 of the way through Medieval 2, and I play some WoW here and there.

rent and if I like it, I buy it. Glad I did that with Super Paper Mario for the Wii, beat it in 2 days.

I rent using gamefly. If the game is worth buying I'll keep it (bought viva pinata for $18), but I just renewed my subscription till July 08 so I probably wont buy another game except Halo till for a while.
