Here is a bit of a discussion in another forum When is 2000+ (http://forums.overclockers.com.au/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31416)

It should be in the 1Q'02. Hope this help's. I believe it should be a 1733 mhz chip. Although there will be a Palomino version as well. :)

When they first come out. They will be similarly priced to what the top of the line chip is now. That is something we can be assured of.

They definitely will run cooler. A 1733 mhz should produce about 43 watt's. To give you a comparison. A .18 1900+(1600mhz) Palomino produces 70 watt's.

Just think how cool one of those processor's will run with a MC462 or SK6. :p

Man, I'm gonna get me one of those as well. Only thing I think is when ever the first stepping of any new model is brought out. They usually have bug's. By that I mean overclockability and the like. It shouldn't really be a problem though. As they will certainly run a lot faster than what we can achieve at the moment.

Other thing I'm thinking about is these new chip's are supposed to run at 1.6 volt's from factory. When you compare the Tualatin which run's at 1.475 or there about's. So will they already be overclocked from the AMD factory to some degree?:eh?:

Unlocking won't be the hardest. I agree with seeing what other's achieve with them.
