I am new to the forum and to OCing in general. I have decided to jump in with both feet and give it a go. I have been reading this and other forums trying to find a good combo to start with and I have decided to go with a AMD XP1800+ and a Epox 8KHA+ as my weapons of choice. I have been looking for a good HSF to go with this combo that will set me up for some mild OCing in the begining and give me some options to go Balls out in the future. I have read some reviews of the Swiftech 426-A and am leaning towards that HSF. Has anyone had any experiance with this model and mobo postive or negative, or any words of warning with this combo.

Any and all comments and suggestions are welcomed.

Watercooling is not an option at this time.

If it will fit get the MCX462. It`s the best air cooling on the market. If I remember right the diff between this and water cooling W/O the pelt is only a couple degrees C and it`s cheaper then water. If you don't mind the noise get the Delta 80mm 80C.F.M. fan. You can get both at www.sidewindercomputers.com
